Periodic Learn

IUPAC Interactive Periodic Table of Elements & Chemistry Hub

About

Periodic Learn is a free, open educational platform offering an interactive periodic table, chemistry tools and exam preparation resources for students and teachers.

What we offer

  • An interactive periodic table of all 118 elements with IUPAC-aligned data.
  • Chemistry tools for periodic trends, electron configuration, VSEPR geometry, redox balancing, electrochemistry and quantitative calculations.
  • Practice resources including quizzes, spaced-repetition flashcards, a study guide and a CEE mock-exam simulator.

Who it is for

Periodic Learn is built primarily for higher-secondary and medical-entrance students in Nepal, while the underlying chemistry is universal and useful to learners and teachers worldwide.

Our approach

We prioritise scientific accuracy, clear explanations and fast, low-bandwidth performance so the platform stays usable on modest devices and slow connections.

Element data, standard reduction potentials and electronic configurations follow IUPAC, NIST and CRC Handbook conventions. See our Editorial & Review Policy for how content is checked and updated.

Independence and funding

Periodic Learn is free to use. Hosting and development are supported through non-intrusive advertising served by Google AdSense. Advertising does not influence our educational content.

Scientific Reference Standards & Attribution: Element atomic weights, standard reduction potentials, and quantum configurations conform to recommendations of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), the NIST Physical Measurement Laboratory, and the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics. Secondary and higher secondary curriculum alignment corresponds to the Curriculum Development Centre (CDC), Nepal.
